Fred Win Golf Honors 16 Year Old Girl Lured by City Is Back With Parents The attractions of the city and the lure of employment with big wages brought 16-year old Beatrice Porter, alias Bessie Brown, to Chicago, last week from her home at Metcalf, Ed- gar county, Ill, without the consent of her parents. Upon her arrival in the city the girl spent the night at the depot and the next day, through the Travelers' Aid society, found employment at the O. Kastrup home, 1096 Cherry street, Winnetka, which fact was at the time communicated to the Winnetka police. Inquiries from the frantic parents reached the Chicago police, who in turn communicated the inquiry to Winnetka, and Officer Luensman was detailed to investigate.
