This plot, covering the square block bounded by Superior street, Lake Shore drive, Huron street and McClurg court, is TL | YEE valued at $1,500,000. It will be given over to the intra-murals of the Chi- cago students of Northwestern until the downtown building program is re- sumed. Edward B. Davidson of Evan- ston, assistant business manager, was active in the establishment of the new eld. Kenilworth Women Voters Invite to Open Meeting The Kenilworth League of Women Voters will hold its opening meeting on Tuesday morning, October 23, at 11 o'clock, at the Kenilworth Assembly hall. This is an open meeting and every one is invited and urged to come. A buffet luncheon will be served by a committee in charge of Mrs. Thomas White, and those planning to attend are asked to notify Mrs. White by telephone at the earliest possible mo- ment. Mrs. Quincy Wright will speak on some of the campaign subjects which are of interest to every voter. There is an urgent appeal to every woman in Kenilworth to join the Ken- ilworth league, and the membership committee does not want to have any one feel that she is "left out." Mrs. Edwin Hedrick, Kenilworth 1725, is in charge of information concerning en- trance into league membership. Mrs. Dorr Price, 661 Hill road, left last Wednesday evening to attend a wedding in New York. She is ex- pected to return tomorrow. Faculty of N. K. E. C. Form Year's Plans The faculty of the National Kinder- garten and Elementary college held the first of its monthly meetings Thursday afternoon. Reports on the registration and the testing program were given, plans for the year outlined and new members of the faculty wel- comed. Following the dinner these new members were guests of the col- lege at a faculty dinner. Mrs. Harry G. Phillips, president of the Alumnae association of the Na- tional Kindergarten and Elementary college, presided at the first of the monthly luncheons of the association, held in the party room at Marshall Field's at 12 Saturday.
