WINNETKA TALK November 10, 1928 Camp Fire Sparks The Akiyuhapi Camp Fire group held a successful party in Community House Friday evening, November 2. Dancing and games were followed by refresh- ments. Miss Mildred Olson is guard- ian of this group. The new group of Camp Fire Girls now forming, has as its guardian Mrs. Paul Hutchinson, assisted by Miss Margaret Washburne. A second guard- ian for this group will also be chosen in a few days, as a partner with Mrs. Hutchinson. This group selected its name and symbol at the meeting last Wednesday afternoon, and will be known as the Adkiya Camp Fire Girls. The Otyokwa Camp Fire group, Mrs. J. M. Winscott and Miss Kathryn Adams, guardians, met Wednesday af- ternoon as usual. Plans were dis- cussed for a work meeting next week, at which time the girls will do some tying and dyeing of scarfs for Christ- mas. They are planning a ceremonial meeting to be held this month. The Litahni Camp Fire Girls met with Mrs. Philip Fisher and Miss Dor- othy Prouty Wednesday afternoon to discuss the program for the group for the month. Mary McFadzean and Virginia Dunlap are working for their Torch Bearer's rank (the highest in Camp Fire) and as one of the require- ments for it, are each leading a group of Blue-Birds -- younger Camp Fire girls. Miss Frances Simon who is also working for this rank, is assisting. Ruth Jackson is also in charge of a Blue Bird group These groups meet each Friday afternoon. Garniss of Boston has rented the Borre home on Seventeenth street. Prof. Cliff Hamil- ton of Northwestern University has rented the Alberga home at 1623 Washington avenue. William E.
