Employment: professional musician, playing clarinet and all horns and had played with such name bands as Ted Weems, Clyne McCoy, Tiny Hill and Lawrence Welk. He was a member of the Federation of Musicians Local No. 10 in Chicago.
Survived by: wife, Josephine; mother, Mrs. Vita Turner; daughter, Laura Welberg of Glenview; a grandson; a sister, Harriet Davis, and a brother Dean Turner.
Funeral: Services held Nov 13 in Moberly, Mo. Arrangements handled by the Scott Funeral Home, Glenview.
