- Baha'i Temple. Note only the basement has been completed on the temple. You can see the Ben Marshall Mansion on the south side of the harbor. The Sheridan Shore yacht Club was in the basement of this house at the time. Note where the water comes up to. Note the few houses on East Linden Ave., and Canterbury Court. You can see National College and Evanston Hospital in the upper part of the photograph. Note that the drive in Gillson Park (then Washington Park) is not paved. Note the number of vacant lots on Linden Ave., Laurel Ave., etc.
