Full title is "Message from the President of the United States transmitting communications from the American Ministers at Ghent, shewing the Progress and State of the Negotiations for Peace with Great Britain"
Dated December 1, 1814. Read and referred to the committee on foreign relations. It is addressed to the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States by James Madison.
It contains transcripts of the documents between British and American representatives in Ghent.
