- This black and white photo shows the Baxter family in front of their home on Lot 4, Conc.1. A small barn can be seen to the left of the family home.
Mr. and Mrs. Baxter are posed with their four children, Joyce, Doris, Kenneth, and Luella.
- Notes
- Ivan Baxter purchased the farm in April 1951 and over the years the family sold cream and bottled milk as well as running a maple syrup camp.
Eventually the farm changed from dairy to beef cattle. When the farm was purchased an acre of land sold for $20 and their total taxes were $18.00.
