- This small round amber colored dish is done in a basketweave pattern in what was known as "Carnival Glass" Carnival Glass was a process begun in 1908 and used a substance called Iridill to produce the multi colored effects.
It was also known as "the poor mans Tiffany". It got the name Carnival glass because it was used as prizes at fairs, carnivals and fairgrounds. - Inscriptions
