This is my Grandfather. I am the second daughter of Edgar's first son Charles. This photo brings back many memories for me. I remember as a little girl walking down from my grandparrents house to the barber shop to meet Grandpa at the end of the day. He would close down the shop and hold my hand as we walked back to his house. I must have been 4 or five at the time. I remember Grandpa putting a board across the arms of this barber chair and lifting me up, onto the board so I could get my hair cut. I also remember my grandmother, Margaret Inkster, baking many pies for the restaurant in the Rod and Gun Hotel. The restaurant would call her up and place an order for pies and we would deliver the fresh baked pies the next day before the lunch hour rush. Both my grandparent were very popular in Iron Bridge, and there was always some one dropping by their house. My grandparents were very active members of the Baptist church. They were very open and caring people. Over the years, they gave many foster children temperary refuge.
