Flight Lieutenant John Caird of the Royal Air Force took this picture after 159 Squadron (joint RCAF/RAF) moved in as forward base in 1944.
Notes
John Caird was a Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force, 1942-1947 and was sometimes jointly attached to the Royal Canadian Air Force. John moved to Canada in 1957, and to Oakville in 1961.
