Description
This piece from the North Shore Sentinel details the installation of the 42 ton truss bridge that spans 200 feet across the Mississagi River replacing the original vehicular bridge in the Village of Iron Bridge.
Notes
The bridge was built by Pete Schmitz, and was funded by various sources with much of the work done by volunteers in addition to the professionals.
