Description
This is a reprint of an article first published in the Sault Star on April 12, 1912 about the sinking of the Titanic.

The article gives a list of Canadians who were known to be aboard and there was speculation that a man from Sault Ste. Marie could have possibly been on board.
Notes
Out of 2200 people on board only 866 were saved. This was the maiden voyage of the ship belonging to the White Star Lines and it sank after colliding with an iceberg off the coast of Newfoundland.
