Description: This is a black and white photo of L-R Emma(Gardiner) Allen, Maud (Nicholson) Gardiner Allen and Annie(Gardiner) New in a boat on a sandy shore at some unknown location.

The ladies are all gray haired, wear glasses and short sleeved summer dresses. The boat appears to be a wooden rowboat. Sand and steep sloped forested hills are visible along a stretch of water in the background.

This photo is located in the Gardiner/Allen scrapbook 1700'2 - 1954.

A comment received shares that Emma and Annie were sisters and Maud was their sister-in-law, married to their brother, Bert.
