STANLY MEETS THESSALON BOYS
England March 24, 1943
Dear Mr. Hurn:
Just a few lines to let you know that I have been receiving the Advocate for some time now. I just got four yesterday and I usually read every word in it. Its sure good to get the paper to find out what the folks back in the Old Home Town are doing and I always pass it on to the other boys from Thessajon that are in the Regiment.
I haven't met many of the boys here yet. although I did meet Wilbert Purdy in January but I couldn't say where and I have had several letters from Joe Giasson and Cuthbert Banks.
I like England very much and I was to London on my last leave, and hope to go to Bristol on my next leave which comes due very soon.
Thanking you again for the paper. Best of luck to you, and friends in Thessalon.
