- Description
- This photo shows the guests of a garden party that was held at Dr. J.H. Mathieson's home at 109 Wellington Street North. The guest are very well dress, exhibiting the fashion of the time. The group includes local M.P. Gilbert McIntyre. The array of guests is not surprising given that Dr. Mathieson was extremely well respected in the community both for his medical practice and his numerous community projects including his place on the Town Hall Building Committee.
