- Description
- This red brick house, built circa 1915, is an example of an early 20th century house design commonly seen throughout Ontario. The house contains aspects of the Queen Anne Revival architectural style popular at the time. The house’s features include a gabled, prominent three-storey bay facing Widder Street, a balconied porch and elegant dormers, one with a lunette window. The bay features a stone-rimmed elliptical window, decorative bargeboard and scalloped shingling above and around the lunette. Many of the building’s original features remain today; however, the veranda has been altered and the upper balcony removed.
