- Description
- A photo taken by amateur photographer Milton Reesor, showing the Knox Presbyterian Church in 1898. This was the second Presbyterian church on this site as the first, built in 1878, was destroyed by fire in 1891. This church would later burn down as well in 1905. The church was located directly across from the St. James Anglican Church. This church was built of white brick with a rose window on the east facing façade. Note the modified tower on the southeast corner of the church. This tower replaced a much taller tower with a spire that adorned the original church.
- Notes
- Condition: Good - Image is fairly clear. Moderate discolouration of image. Some fading around the edges of the photo. Appears to be an ink marking on the top edge of the photograph. Album matte is in good condition.
