Description

This postcard features the old Central School built in 1857. The photo gives a view of the clock tower and the west facing entrance onto Church Street. The current school building at this location was built in 1914.

This image was owned by local photographer Milton Reesor. Despite this photograph being included in Reesor's album, it has not been confirmed that Reesor took the photo himself. The photograph may have been taken by J. Webster, another photographer from the St. Marys area.

Notes

Condition: Good - Image is fairly clear. Some blurriness around photo edges and slight fading. Moderate discolouration and darkening of image. Glue residue around photo edges, staining of album cover. Cover is torn from rest of the album.
