Description

A photo featuring a cottage owned by local St. Marys resident T.D. Stanley. The house was one of four built by property developer William Garner at the southwest corner of Elgin and Peel Streets. The house was built very close to the east wall of the Methodist Church, eventually being sold to the church and demolished to make way for a parking lot.

Local amateur photographer Milton Reesor took the photo. The Stanleys were related to the Reesor family through marriage. T.D. Stanley was a local insurance agent and he can be seen sitting on the front porch of his home in this photo.

Notes

Condition: Excellent - Image is very clear. Little to no discolouration of photograph. No other visible damage. Album page is in excellent condition.
