- Description
- A photo featuring four young women sitting on the grass eating melon. The women are posing for the picture while holding the rinds.
The photo was taken by local amateur photographer Milton Reesor. Reesor's sister, Ella Vida Reesor, is believed to be the woman second from the left wearing the white shirtwaist and tie. The woman sitting to the far left with the lace collar is Emma Fraleigh. The Fraleighs were a well known family in St. Marys. It is the Fraleigh home that the girls are sitting next to, which is now Kingsway Lodge Fairhill Residence.
Emma Maria Fraleigh appears to be dressed the same as she is in 0618ph, a portrait of her. These same four women are in reesor248 and reesor249.
The exact date of the photo is unknown; however, it was taken in the early 20th century.
