- This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. This is an image of Queen Street facing west. The image only shows the north side of the street. Clearly visible is the "Lyric Theatre" sign. There is a line of parked vehicles down Queen street as well as a horse drawn wagon. This postcard has been used and dated with a postmark. The date of the postmark is August 24, 1939.
There is another postcard that is almost identical to this one in the collection. This postcard has also been used and dated with a postmark. The postmark on this postcard is dated August 1927. - Notes
- Condition: Good- the ink from the postmark on the front of the postcard has smeared leaving black stains on the upper section of the image. The left top and bottom corners are worn.
