Description

This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. On this postcard is a photograph of the old Central School. The original Central School, pictured here, was built in 1857. Prior to opening this school children attended what became known as the "Lock-Up School."

The current structure that replaced Central school and stands on the same site as Central School was built in 1914.

Condition: Excellent- No damage to postcard.
