Description
This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. It shows a view of the Thames River looking south towards Queen Street. In the middle of the frame is the first stone Victoria Bridge, which was built in 1864 to replace the worn-down wooden one. It was completed by Alexander McDonald, a local stonemason, at the cost of $4450.

Condition: Good - Slight bend in middle, some discolouration.
