Description
This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. It depicts the London Bridge, looking east, which spans Trout Creek. The London Bridge was constructed in 1857 after a new branch of the Grand Trunk Rail line was opened. The first trains passed over the bridge in 1858, and the bridge is still in use today for VIA Rail.
