Description

This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. It is a reminder of the upcoming election, as well as an advertisement for the receiver to vote for the Liberal Party candidate for Perth, Bill Somerville. This was used for the June 25, 1968 Federal Election. Although Bill Somerville did not win the riding, the Liberal Party won a majority, which made Pierre Trudeau Prime Minister.

This postcard is used and addressed to a Mr. Manfred Maurer of Stratford.

Notes

Condition: Good - Slight wear on bottom corners, some staining in middle.
