- Description
- This image is a copy of a photograph from the Reg Near collection. This building was originally constructed on Church Street North in 1869 as a hotel, owned by John W. Pearson. It featured high quality furnishing and a livery stable, which is a parking lot now. After changing hands numerous times and surviving a large fire in 1871, the building was purchased by Florence Sutherland and converted into apartment buildings. It is still used as such to this day.
