Description
An article written by local columnist Dorothy Mae Eedy titled "Will that be possum or raccoon?". Eedy described Baker Lake, Nunavut, where her son was conducting an environmental study alongside the residents of the area. She states that Baker Lake is the only inland Inuit settlement. The people living there are primarily caribou hunters. Eedy mentions Farley Mowatt's book on the people of Baker Lake titled "People of the Deer". Eedy also gives a detailed description on how to cook raccoon and possum.
