- This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. It depicts the Service Station in Granton. As road paving finished in 1927 and the rail service ended in 1956, automobiles became increasingly popular in Granton. This particular station was operated by Garfield Nixon in 1964.

- Condition: slight bend in middle, some discolouration on the back.
