Description
This is a photograph of the water below the Victoria Bridge during a flood. Floods are common in St. Marys, and prior to the building of a flood wall in 1988, the water was more likely to spill onto the streets. Behind the bridge you can see the building that was then the Royal Edward Hotel and is now the Castle Garden and Jennies Restaurant (July 2018).
