This is a photograph of a conveyor belt belonging to the St. Marys Cement Plant that transports materials over the Thames River.

From the St Marys Cement website: St Marys Cement was founded in 1912 by John Lind and Alfred Rogers. Together they led a small group of investors in building a 2 kiln, 180 tonne per day cement plant at a cost of $250,000.

St Marys Cement is one of the oldest cement companies in North America and a major producer of cement related materials in the Great Lakes Region.
