Description
This is a photograph of a postcard showing a view looking east over the dam. It appears to have been taken in the summer as there is no water going over the dam. The postcard provides an excellent view of the many bridges over Trout Creek in St. Marys. Although they are hard to distinguish, you can see every bridge in St. Marys that goes over Trout Creek. From front to back, they are the Water Street Bridge, Wellington Street Bridge, Church Street Bridge, and the London Bridge which is still used as a trestle bridge for VIA trains.

The rounded building to the left of the Wellington Street Bridge is the old covered ice rink that was used by curlers, hockey players and skaters until it was torn down in the 1940s.
