- Description
- This is a photograph of of the Andrews Jeweller building downtown St. Marys, built in 1884 by William Williams, a local architect who also designed the Church Street Bridge and Ericildoune (236 Jones Street East). The building was constructed for William Andrews, a local jeweler, after his business outgrew the small frame store where he opened up in 1969. This location (135 Queen Street East) remained a jewelry store for over a century. From 1981 until recently, it was home to Anstett Jewellers. In August 2018, the store is vacant.
