Description

The photograph depicts the business Silent Glow Oil Burner, which was sold by Glen Slater. The business was presumably situated on the corner of Water Street and Jones Street with a 1928 Model A Ford in the foreground with the company logo on the side.

Notes

Condition: Front: red stain down left side with creased corners and a large crease in the middle of the photograph. Top two corners are cut off and bottom two corners have the top layer peeled off. Photograph is curled at both sides and won't lay flat. Photo is discoloured and worn.
Back: Some blue and purple spotted stains on the bottom (most likely pen marks) with some grey/brown stains throughout, mostly on corners. All 4 corners are creased, and bottom right corner top layer is starting to peel apart.
