It's April 1 and the churches have been closed for a couple of weeks with many people learning about Zoom and "attending" services that way. This Sunday is Palm Sunday, then comes Good Friday and Easter, all in what seems to be the very apex of the pandemic.
It's almost 3 years since I moved and had to transplant pieces of my Crown of Thorns plant. Finally it has sprouted a couple of blossoms, drops of blood beside the thorns. It will see me through this unusual Good Friday and through to another glorious Easter Day!
