- brown box camera (c1875-1880) used by Mr. J. S. Butler, photographer in Chatham from 1874 to 1902
- engraved on brass lens is "No. 10.338 Holmes, Booth & Haydens, New York"; camera closes by folding; lens can be removed; lettering on side of camera reads: "Assigned to A. M. Optical Co. John Stock Patented August 2, 1862"
