- top piece of camera (.1) - black bakelite, with silver bakelite front plate "Brownie Starflash Camera Dakon Lens"; metal slide to switch from colour to black and white film at bottom of plate
- built in flash (7.5 cm d.); 2 lenses on front, side silver pieces
- back has red window film viewer; square view finder; tin strip to release flashbulb; silver sticker above viewfinder is flash use chart; metal screw at centre top
- bottom piece of camera (.2) - black bakelite, with spool; metal parts; winding dial on bottom and release pin to hold in camera
- raised printing on bottom and inside with instructions
