- Letty graduated from the Public General Hospital nursing school in June 1946. She moved to Hamilton in September to work at the Mount Hamilton Maternity Hospital. In the spring of 1948 she was accepted into VON. She received an annual uniform allowance of $100. Letty retired in 1965.
