- This is an image of Ron Laidlaw standing in front of houses and snowbanks, holding a pair of skis. He is dressed up for the winter, wearing a toque, mitts, and boots. This photo was taken on Elgin St., near King St. Ron Laidlaw was the son of William (Bill) Laidlaw and Alice Ready. He grew up in St. Marys and became a journalist and photographer in London.
