- A jacquard coverlet woven circa 1880 by Edward Graf. This pattern is birds of paradise with a medallion border. The warp (vertical threads) is white cotton, the weft (horizontal threads) is red, blue, and yellow wool. The image shows both sides of the coverlet, the intricate pattern shows up on both sides with inverse colouring. There is fringe on the long sides of the coverlet. The bottom fringe has been covered by previous owners using a red floral calico fabric. The cartouche in the bottom corner: "BIRDS OF / PARADISE".
