Description

A portrait of Pat Gardner from 1963. He sits at the table, wearing a white shirt and holding a telephone in his right hand. There is a pen in his left hand. He is posed to appear like he is writing in the book, and he is looking directly at the camera. There is also a wire hanging down on the right side of the photo.

Patrick K. Gardner was the owner of St. Marys Grill for a time and later opened a restaurant on Queen Street West known as "Pat's." He died in 1979 at age 64. His wife, Marjorie W. Gardner (nee. Brown), lived to 78 years old, passing in 1997.
