Description
A picture of powder puffs made by DeLong Hook & Eye Company in St. Marys, Ontario. The puffs are advertised as "Satin Smooth" and were likely made in St. Marys.

Founded by Frank DeLong in Philadelphia, DeLong Hook & Eye Co. made pins and fasteners for clothing. One of these factories was built on Emily St. in the early 1900s, but in 1958, the factory changed locations and a new larger building was built on Egan Avenue. This building on Egan Avenue later housed Dresden Industries and eventually closed in 2003.
