- Description
- Photo of Mount Pascoe (89 Ontario Street South), a home which was built in such a way that it appears to be almost challenging the St. Marys Museum building from its own hill.
Mount Pascoe was built around 1870 for C.S. Jones, a local lawyer who unfortunately ran off to the United States with all his clients' money in 1879.
The home of course had owners after this including a doctor (Dr. Sinclair) and a professor (William Dale).
See Historic St. Marys by Larry Pfaff (pg. 19) for more information on the families who have lived in this home. - Notes
