- Photo of George Carter, a St. Marys businessman and mill owner. He ran the Carter milling company and became quite profitable building large homes for his children in the East side of St. Marys (see 67 Peel Street South, 236 Jones Street East and 223 Jones Street East) as well as his own home 224 Jones Street East.
