"This carte-de-visite photograph is the wedding photograph taken by the studio of William Notman, the Montreal photographer and brother of his (David Howard Harrison's) bride.

Wedding Date: 1863
Bride: Margaret Notman

Originals were borrowed from Mrs. C.M. Carter of Newmarket, Ontario, the grand-daughter of Dr. Harrison.
She possesses a magnificent tinted enlargement of this photo of Margaret Notman Harrison.

Dr. Harrison, later the Premier of Manitoba (briefly)."
