Photo of Regina Riddell (age 80), standing in front of a board and batten house that had once been located on Widder Street East in the Skunk's Hollow area near the lime kiln. This house has since been removed.

Information about Regina Riddell from photographer of "Aunt Regina" standing in front of a small frame house, 1924.

Regina Riddell was the daughter of Hiram and Jane (Cooper) Smith. She was born December 20, 1845, across from the North Nissouri Church and Cemetery.
She married James Riddell, who was the son of Samuel and Elizabeth Riddell and was born August 15, 1840. he dies in 1900.

After his death, Regina lived in this house by herself until 1940 and was self-supporting. The house was in the North Ward, Skunk's Hollow area, near the lime kilm.

After her death in 1947 (sic), Mr. (Thomas?) Buckley bought the property and tore the house down. He remodelled the barn into a home.

NOTE: In 1992, this property belongs to Nick Eybergen.
