- Acting Company Sergeant- Major C.J. Dickenson (December 17, 1897- October 16, 1918)
Clesson John Dickenson was born near Anderson, Blanshard Township and was a graduate of St. Marys Collegiate Institute.
After completing initial training in Ottawa, Dickenson moved to the depot at Belleville in January 1918. That fall, Dickenson fell victim to the Spanish Influenza epidemic, and died on October 16, 1918.
Dickenson is buried in the St. Marys Cemetery. His grave is one of only ten is St. Marys which are considered war graves.
