Description
An agreement for an indentured servant, dated August 1st, 1814 in Kingston, Upper Canada. It states that William [Tosdevine] of Kingston, under his own free will and with the consent of his father Peter [Tosdevine] (also from Kingston), agreed to become an apprentice/servant for Tunis Snook of Kingston. The length of his service is said to have started the date the agreement was signed (August 1, 1814) and last for 11 years, one month and three days. The agreement is signed and marked by each of these individuals.
