- This document, dated August 1820, is a memorandum signed by Samuel Street concerning financial transactions between the late James Rogers and Lieut. [Prime], an American, in June 1813.
Street, along with his partner Thomas Clark, owned Niagara Falls Mills and was one of the largest money-lenders and financiers in Upper Canada. Other notable names mentioned within the document are David Secord and John McFarland. - Date de l'original
