introduce By-law No. 230, To Appoint Deputy Returning Officers and Poll Clerks for the Township of Seneca for the Purpose of Holding Municipal Elections for the Year 1920, and that the same be read a first time. Moved by Mr. Tomlinson, seconded by Mr. Lee, that By law No. 230, To Appoint Deputy Returning Officers and Poll Clerks, be read a third time, signed by the Reeve and Clerk, the Corporate Seal attached, and entitled a By-law as in the original motion. During the noon hour the Ladies of the Red Cross presented to the Township of Seneca a Brass Tablet containing the names of all men who were residents of Seneca when they enlisted for service in the Great War of 1914-18. The Tablet was accepted on behalf of the Township by the Reeve, who made a very able and appropriate address. All the members of the Council thanked the Ladies for their gift, as did also ex-Reeves Dills and Shipway.
