- This is a black and white photo of Shaw's Planing Mill, 1890. The photo shows workers and local children standing in doorways, behind piled lumber. A wagon, probably used for delivery,is hitched and waiting at the right of the photo.

- A note at the bottom of the photo reads: "Shaw's Planing Mill - 1890. It was located where Home Hardware is located in 1989 Left side of Main Street at Dobie Street."
